I am deeply honored to serve as the commandant of APF Command and Staff College. I am committed to upholding and continuing the academic and professional excellence of this college and enriching the quality of students to maintain the ethos of APF Command and Staff College: Knowledge, Courage, Dedication, Karma, Honor, and Valor to fulfill envisioned statement “Lead to Enlighten”.
APF Command and Staff College is a premier institution dedicated to advance professional studies and graduate course affiliated to Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. Our primary focus is on developing the leadership competencies of mid-level officers, ensuring they are equipped with the essential professional skills and theoretical knowledge to excel in their roles. Our comprehensive curriculum covers wide range of subjects such as national security strategy, regional and global security, foreign policy, conflict and peace studies, governance and statecraft, IHL/IHRL, revenue, and custom security, industrial security, border security and management, disaster risk reduction, different conventional/unconventional tactics and warfare, and research methodology.
Student officers attending here are as diverse and dynamics as the range of courses. We highly value the contribution of academics, researchers, scholars, students and those who are in pursuit of knowledge in this college. I am committed to maintaining our institutional excellence and express my sincere gratitude to the faculty of Tribhuvan University, visiting professors, experts and staffs for their role in establishing this college as a premier academic center for security, development, and peace studies.
