Message from the Commandant

I am honored to serve as the Acting Commandant of APF Command and Staff College. I am quite devoted to continue the academic & professional excellence of this college and enriching the quality of students to maintain the ethos of APF Command and Staff College: Knowledge, Courage, Dedication, Karma, Honor and Valor to fulfill envisioned statement “Lead to Enlighten”.
APF Command and Staff College is an institution responsible for professional studies and masters degree affiliated to Tribhuvan University. Our effort is always focused on mid-level officers to enhance their leadership competencies. Here students are driven to acquire our required curriculum contents as of National Security Strategy, Regional and Global Security, Foreign Policy, Conflict and Peace Studies, Governance and Statecraft, IHL/IHRL, Revenue & Custom Security, Industrial Security, Border Security & Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, different Conventional/Unconventional Tactics & Warfare and Research Methodology.
Our student officers are as diverse and vibrant as the range of courses. We value all the student officers, academician, researchers and those who are in pursuit of knowledge in this college. We would like to assure our continuous commitment toward institutional excellence.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to TU faculty, experts, visiting professors, students, staff, TU & its Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences for making MSDPS an academic center for proving manpower in the field of security, development and peace studies.
